POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer to enhance our operations in sugar manufacturing. This role is tailored for seasoned professionals with a background in the sugar sector who are ready to elevate their careers.

The Senior Process Engineer will engage in a comprehensive program aimed at aligning international expertise with ASR standards, ensuring the highest quality and efficiency in our processes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Acquire a thorough understanding of ASR regulations encompassing Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement, and environmental standards.
  • Gain proficiency in ASR software applications related to process control and statistical analysis.
  • Utilize lab reports and operational data to drive improvements in plant performance.
  • Understand and manage critical services including steam, power, and cooling systems.
  • Oversee the performance metrics of the plant, focusing on energy consumption, product quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Identify and report deviations from technical targets, proposing actionable solutions.
  • Collaborate with various departments to enhance overall operational effectiveness.
  • Develop and update process documentation, including flow diagrams and operational manuals.
  • Facilitate training for operators on new systems and processes.
  • Participate actively in safety, quality, and sustainability initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Sugar Engineering (or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in the sugar industry is essential.
  • Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong leadership and technical skills, with a proven track record in process improvements.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal oversight.
