Key Responsibilities- Dough Preparation: Skillfully prepare dough for an array of baked items including pies, bread, rolls, and sweet treats, as well as batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes.
- Special Occasion Pastries: Create exquisite pastries for special events such as weddings and birthdays, ensuring a memorable experience for our clients.
- Inventory Management: Requisition and order necessary materials, equipment, and supplies to maintain smooth operations.
- Baking: Bake mixed dough and batters to perfection, adhering to established recipes and customer specifications.
- Staff Training: Mentor and train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe food handling practices.
- Custom Orders: Prepare and fulfill special orders as requested by customers.
- Cake Decoration: Frost and artistically decorate cakes and other baked goods to enhance their visual appeal.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products meet established quality standards through regular inspections of kitchen and food service areas.
- Machinery Operation: Operate baking machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Food Safety: Prepare dishes that accommodate customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role.
- Employment Type: Permanent position.
- Language Requirement: Proficiency in English.
- Work Hours: Expected to work between 30 to 40 hours per week.
