Registered Care Aide

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Care Aide to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a Registered Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our elderly residents, working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the highest level of care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Provide routine care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility.
- Work under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
- Maintain accurate records, including time sheets and progress notes, to ensure seamless communication and care coordination.
- Participate in shift rotations, including evenings, to ensure 24/7 coverage and continuity of care.
- Grade 10 plus graduation from a recognized Long Term Care Aide program or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with others.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to organize work, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
