Registered Care Aide

We are seeking a Registered Care Aide to join our team at Mountainview Lodge, a single-level building attached to the Kitimat General Hospital & Health Centre. As a Registered Care Aide, you will provide resident care in accordance with resident-centred care philosophy and established regional and facility policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing procedures such as taking temperature, pulse, and respiration
- Perform resident care duties relating to activities of daily living, including personal, social, physical, and recreational needs
- Transport residents and perform clerical duties
- Grade 10 plus graduation from a recognized Nursing Assistant Program or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Registered with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to deal with others effectively
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position
