Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Care Aide to join our team at Mountainview Lodge. As a Registered Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their physical, social, and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, provide routine care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility, and personal care.
- Maintain accurate records of resident care, including time sheets and progress notes.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
Requirements
- Grade 10 plus graduation from a recognized Long-Term Care Aide program or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
