We are seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for processing bi-weekly payrolls, resolving payroll discrepancies, and administering pension and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Processing: Process bi-weekly payrolls for salary and hourly employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate and resolve payroll-related discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Pension and Benefits Administration: Administer pension and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Payroll Journal Entries and Reconciliation: Enter payroll journal entries and reconcile all payroll reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Education and Certification: PCP certification is considered an asset.
  • Experience: 3+ years of payroll experience, including year-end activities.
  • Software Skills: Prior experience with UKG Payroll is preferred.
