Position Overview

As the Culinary Director, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations and providing your culinary skills and leadership across our educational campus. This position is responsible for managing food services for students and staff, as well as coordinating catering for various events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel between campus locations using a reliable vehicle.
  • Manage food production, service, menu design, and event catering.
  • Ensure exceptional catering and customer service experiences.
  • Direct and supervise kitchen staff activities.
  • Engage with clients and guests as the representative of the culinary services.
  • Provide training and development for kitchen teams.
  • Support food safety and physical safety initiatives across all locations.
  • Adhere to established programs related to food safety and health regulations.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a reputable food service environment and catering.
  • Red Seal certification is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing high-volume food and beverage operations.
  • Ability to maintain high standards and comply with policies and procedures.
  • Strong team-building skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Proficient in computer applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience in human resources management.
  • Commitment to fostering a strong safety culture and leading HACCP initiatives.
