About the Role

Sodexo Canada Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Campus Rotational Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary operations team, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day operational support across our campus sites in the Lower Mainland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Support: Provide day-to-day operational support across our campus sites, including the Vancouver area, Langley Post Secondary campus, and Vancouver Island for catering events, vacation coverage, or other special needs.
  • Culinary Operations: Oversee food production, food service, menu planning, and event catering planning to ensure high-quality food and exceptional customer service.
  • Team Management: Direct and coordinate employee activities, including training kitchen teams and supporting our robust food and physical safety programs within our sites.
  • Customer Service: Meet with guests and clients as the face of the food services department, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
  • Vehicle Requirements: A reliable vehicle is mandatory for this role, as you will be traveling between campus locations.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 5 years' experience in a well-established food service facility and in catering.
  • Certifications: Red Seal certified is mandatory.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven experience managing high-volume Food & Beverage departments, with strong team building skills, including friendly, outgoing, and customer service-oriented qualities.
  • Technical Skills: Computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and experience with Human Resources.
  • Driver's License: A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are required.
