Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Labourer to join our team at Chatsworth Fine Homes. As a Labourer, you will be responsible for performing various tasks on construction sites, including loading and unloading materials, reading blueprints, and performing routine maintenance work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload and transport construction materials
  • Read blueprints to determine work requirements
  • Perform routine maintenance work
  • Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
  • Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
  • Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools
Requirements
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • No degree, certificate or diploma required
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Own vehicle
  • Ability to work at heights, in noisy and dusty environments
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Working Conditions

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. The successful candidate will be required to work at heights, in noisy and dusty environments, and will be expected to lift heavy loads.
