Construction Labourer

Chatsworth Fine Homes is seeking a skilled Labourer to join our team for a temporary position. As a Labourer, you will be responsible for performing various tasks on construction sites, including loading and unloading materials, reading blueprints, and performing routine maintenance work.
Work EnvironmentAs a Labourer, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to work at heights, in noisy and dusty conditions. You will also be required to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
Responsibilities- Load, unload, and transport construction materials
- Read blueprints to determine work requirements
- Perform routine maintenance work, including painting and drywall repair
- Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
- Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets
- Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Valid driver's licence and own vehicle
- Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Health care plan
