Right Hand Senior Care is expanding its team. We are in search of a Lead Platform Engineer specializing in Machine Learning to assist in the development of a comprehensive platform for managing ML experiments, deploying ML microservices, and overseeing the configuration of ML models. As a member of the Machine Learning Product Engineering team at Right Hand Senior Care, you will work collaboratively across departments to deliver ML solutions that enhance learning experiences for clients and support educators in crafting distinctive course materials.

A Lead Platform Engineer in Machine Learning at Right Hand Senior Care is a pivotal individual contributor role that offers guidance to team members, spearheads critical projects, and engages in the ongoing enhancement of our software systems. We anticipate that you will excel in a dynamic, rapidly evolving environment and adjust to shifting business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and sustain a robust platform for training, deploying, and monitoring ML models, microservices, and APIs within contemporary containerized cloud settings.
- Streamline various phases of the ML workflow, encompassing model training, inference, and deployment.
- Construct prototypes/web applications to swiftly test different iterations of ML algorithms and deep neural network architectures for optimized content recommendations to our users.
- Collaborate with ML engineers, data scientists/engineers, and product engineering teams to comprehend business requirements, identify effective solutions, and deliver products.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a software engineer, with 2-3 years focused on Machine Learning products or infrastructure.
- Proficient in writing Python code for production environments for 2-3 years.
- Solid understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases, RESTful APIs, and microservice architectures utilizing Docker containers.
- Familiarity with the AWS ecosystem, including ML frameworks such as Athena, S3, EMR Spark, Sagemaker, and Tensorflow.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar orchestration and configuration management tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Exposure to a variety of machine learning algorithms (both supervised and unsupervised) and/or prior experience collaborating with ML teams.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
- A strong passion for education.

The base salary for this position is influenced by several factors, including the candidate's experience and expertise.
