Senior Practice Leader, BC Women's Hospital

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Practice Leader to join our team at BC Women's Hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for promoting excellence in nursing practice and quality of patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the development and implementation of nursing practice standards and guidelines.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to identify and address areas for improvement in patient care.
- Develop and implement education programs for nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff to promote a culture of excellence and quality care.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care transitions and coordination.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to advance nursing practice and quality care.
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in nursing leadership or advanced practice roles.
- Eligible for registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM).
- Certification in CPR and relevant specialty certifications (e.g. Neonatal Specialty Nursing Certificate or CNA Certification in Perinatal Nursing).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
