Midway Nissan is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Parts Manager to lead our Parts Team and drive exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to exceed their expectations.
- Manage and maintain accurate parts inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Develop and implement an annual operating budget, goals, and objectives for the Parts Department, and monitor performance to ensure success.
- Oversee the onboarding, training, and development of the Parts Department team members.
- Collaborate with the Service Manager and Body Shop Manager to ensure seamless parts availability and coordination.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and concerns.
- Build and maintain a positive relationship with customers, focusing on problem resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with warranty clerks to administer warranty claims and ensure compliance with warranty guidelines.
- Establish and maintain accurate inventory systems, including parts pricing procedures.
- Conduct regular meetings with department employees to discuss activities, problems, and goals.
- Report performance goals and achievements on a regular basis.
- Inspect each part received for accuracy, proper pricing, and damage.
- Ensure a safe and responsible work environment for all employees.
- Review previous month's sales and profit to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Parts Manager.
- Prior CDK experience is required.
- Valid Ontario driver's license and clean driving record.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Team-oriented, flexible, and customer-focused.
- Ability to manage customer complaints and resolve conflicts.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to follow standard procedures.
- Flexible and open to change.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
