Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to exceed their expectations.
  • Manage and maintain accurate parts inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Develop and implement an annual operating budget, goals, and objectives for the Parts Department, and monitor performance to ensure success.
  • Oversee the onboarding, training, and development of the Parts Department team members.
  • Collaborate with the Service Manager and Body Shop Manager to ensure seamless parts availability and coordination.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and concerns.
  • Build and maintain a positive relationship with customers, focusing on problem resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with warranty clerks to administer warranty claims and ensure compliance with warranty guidelines.
  • Establish and maintain accurate inventory systems, including parts pricing procedures.
  • Conduct regular meetings with department employees to discuss activities, problems, and goals.
  • Report performance goals and achievements on a regular basis.
  • Inspect each part received for accuracy, proper pricing, and damage.
  • Ensure a safe and responsible work environment for all employees.
  • Review previous month's sales and profit to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Parts Manager.
  • Prior CDK experience is required.
  • Valid Ontario driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Team-oriented, flexible, and customer-focused.
  • Ability to manage customer complaints and resolve conflicts.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to follow standard procedures.
  • Flexible and open to change.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
