Job Title: Interprofessional Educator

Baycrest is seeking a highly skilled Interprofessional Educator to join our team. As an Interprofessional Educator, you will play a key role in developing and delivering educational programs that support the goals of the Centre.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with interprofessional teams to assess learning needs and develop educational products and programs.
  • Deliver and coordinate in-person and virtual education programs with internal and external teams.
  • Integrate leading practices and educational technologies into teaching to ensure interprofessional teams acquire knowledge and skills.
  • Communicate with diverse learners and stakeholders to promote quality of life for people living, working, and studying in aging care settings.
  • Participate in ongoing research, evaluation, and innovation activities of the Centre.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate degree in a registered healthcare discipline or degree with substantive training and education experience.
  • Gerontology and Ontario CLRI Specialized Educator for LTC certificates and project management experience are assets.
  • Three years related experience as an educator.
  • Long-term care and/or aging care experience.
  • Experience working with regulated and unregulated care providers, students, families, volunteers, and clinical leaders.
