In the role of Leadership Development Specialist, reporting to the National Learning & Development Manager, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and enhancement of our leadership development framework. This framework encompasses tailored learning pathways, innovative solutions, and comprehensive assessments.

Your efforts will empower individuals and teams to refine their leadership capabilities, ensuring alignment with BioScript's strategic objectives, organizational culture, and core values.

As a Leadership Development Specialist, you will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders, including People and Engagement partners and Organizational Leaders, to guarantee the effective execution of strategies aimed at cultivating a robust and diverse leadership pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote BioScript's core values while developing and advancing our Leadership Development strategy through customized programs that cater to various leadership levels, from emerging to seasoned leaders.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of the organization's learning needs through consultations with leadership and HR, as well as data analysis and research.
  • Manage partnerships with external vendors to deliver on the leadership development services roadmap.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends in talent management and maintain a network of industry professionals to provide internal thought leadership.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and financial impact of Leadership Development initiatives by tracking learning metrics and utilizing data to support further investments.
  • Create reports and presentations to highlight progress, identify challenges, and secure support from senior leadership for future initiatives.
  • Oversee assigned projects with strong project management skills, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement, logistics, budgeting, and administrative tasks.
  • Utilize advanced facilitation skills to conduct leadership and professional development programs for mid to senior-level personnel across the organization.
  • Research emerging trends and practices in the learning sector, advocating for a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in learning and development, with a focus on designing and implementing learner-centered solutions.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, Adult Education, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Proven ability to take decisive action and follow through on commitments to achieve sustainable outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster open and respectful dialogue.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft O365 suite.
  • Sound judgment skills for making recommendations, identifying needs, and resolving issues.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Experience in designing training content for diverse audiences across various business functions.
  • Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
  • Familiarity with Bloom's Taxonomy, ADDIE, and Adult Learning Principles.
  • A professional Human Resources designation is a plus.
