Reporting to the National Learning & Development Manager, the Leadership Development Consultant will be responsible for the design, implementation, and refinement of BioScript Solutions' leadership development framework, which encompasses learning pathways, resources, tools, and evaluations.

Through various development initiatives and projects, you will assist individuals and teams in enhancing their leadership capabilities to align with BioScript's objectives, organizational culture, and core values.

As the Leadership Development Consultant, you will collaborate with internal and external partners, People and Engagement teams, and Organizational Leaders to ensure the effective execution of strategies and solutions aimed at cultivating a robust and diverse leadership pipeline.

How you will contribute

  • Advocate for BioScript's Values and develop, lead, and enhance our Leadership Development framework by providing programs tailored to distinct leadership needs, whether they pertain to emerging, new, existing, or seasoned leaders.
  • Conduct a thorough analysis of the organization's learning needs through discussions with leaders and HR, data analysis, and research.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors/suppliers as necessary to source and deliver on the leadership development services roadmap.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and advancements in talent management and maintain a community of practice across industries relevant to talent management and leadership development, providing internal thought leadership in this domain.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and financial impact of Leadership Development programs by tracking learning metrics and utilizing data to advocate for further investments.
  • Create reports and presentations to highlight progress, identify challenges, and secure support from senior leaders for future initiatives.
  • Execute assigned projects with proficient project management skills, overseeing stakeholder relations, logistics, budget, and administrative responsibilities.
  • Utilize expert facilitation skills in conducting leadership and professional development programs for mid to senior levels throughout the organization.
  • Explore emerging trends and practices within the learning sector and promote a culture of continuous learning within the organization.

What you will bring to our organization

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in learning and development; designing, developing, and implementing learner-centric/strategic solutions to address knowledge and/or skill gaps;
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development, Adult Education, or a related field;
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in People Leadership;
  • Proven success in taking timely and effective action and following through on commitments to achieve sustainable results;
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster open and respectful exchanges of ideas and opinions to achieve objectives;
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
  • Solid understanding of the Microsoft O365 suite;
  • Strong judgment skills to make recommendations, identify needs, and resolve issues;
  • Must possess strong facilitation and presentation skills;
  • Experience in designing training content for a diverse audience across all areas of a business;
  • Bilingualism in French & English is an asset;
  • Familiarity with Bloom's Taxonomy, ADDIE, and Adult Learning Principles;
  • A professional Human Resources designation would be considered an asset.
