We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Steel Boots Trucking Inc. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a semi-trailer truck to transport goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and unload goods safely and efficiently, ensuring accurate cargo documentation.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle condition and safety.
  • Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Communicate with central dispatch to receive and relay information, ensuring timely and efficient transportation.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption accurately and efficiently.
Requirements:
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks) is required.
  • Valid driver's licence and a clean driving record are essential.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently are necessary.
  • Flexibility and ability to work varied shifts are required.
