Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Steel Boots Trucking Inc. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a semi-trailer truck to transport goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation: Operate a semi-trailer truck to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Load and Unload: Load and unload goods and materials safely and efficiently.
  • Communication: Relay information to central dispatch and receive updates on cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks) and experience as a Truck Driver.
  • Skills: Attention to detail, ability to work independently, and strong communication skills.
Work Environment:

As a Truck Driver, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions. You will be required to sit for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
