Job Title: Truck Driver

Steel Boots Trucking Inc is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a semi-truck to transport goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Safely: Operate a semi-truck to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and Unload: Load and unload goods from the truck, ensuring accurate and efficient handling.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance on the truck to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Communication: Relay information to central dispatch and receive updates on route changes and other important information.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence: Possess a valid Class 1/1F/A Licence for semi-trailer trucks.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Truck Driver is an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to sit for extended periods, lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and perform repetitive tasks.
