Job Title: Truck Driver - Over the Road

Job Summary: Steel Boots Trucking Inc is seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a safe and secure environment on the road.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive semi-trailer trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Load and unload goods at designated locations
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
  • Maintain accurate records of cargo, hours of service, and fuel consumption
  • Communicate with central dispatch to receive and relay information

Requirements:

  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Good driving record
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Work Environment: The work environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail. The successful candidate will be required to work in a variety of weather conditions and will be expected to maintain a safe and secure environment on the road.
