Position Overview

Royal Star Enterprises Inc. is seeking a dedicated Groundskeeping Supervisor to oversee our outdoor maintenance operations. This role is crucial in ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing.

No formal degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.

Work Environment

The role involves working primarily outdoors, providing a dynamic and engaging work atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and schedule events, programs, and activities related to grounds maintenance.
  • Plan and direct all aspects of grounds upkeep.
  • Estimate labor and material requirements for various projects.
  • Maintain accurate work records and logs for all activities.
  • Repair and maintain equipment used in groundskeeping.
  • Address work-related issues, offering technical guidance and recommendations to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Establish effective work schedules and procedures for the team.
Supervisory Responsibilities

This position will involve supervising a team of approximately 11-15 individuals.

Safety and Security

A valid driver's license is required, and a driver's validity license check will be conducted.

Transportation and Travel

Applicants must possess a valid driver's license.

Physical Requirements

  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking is required.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Tools and Equipment

Steel-toed safety boots are necessary for this role.

The ideal candidate will be a strong team player, capable of working collaboratively with others.

Experience

Applicants should have 2 to less than 3 years of relevant experience in groundskeeping or a similar field.

Employment Type

This is a permanent position requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week.
