About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Groundskeeping Supervisor to join our team at Royal Star Enterprises Inc. as a key member of our facilities management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and Coordinate Grounds Maintenance: Plan and direct grounds maintenance activities, including scheduling events, programs, and activities.
  • Supervise Grounds Staff: Lead and manage a team of 11-15 grounds staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Plan and Estimate Labour and Materials: Develop and implement plans for labour and materials required for grounds maintenance, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Maintain Work Records and Logs: Accurately record and maintain work records and logs, including maintenance schedules, staff performance, and equipment usage.
  • Repair and Maintain Equipment: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on grounds equipment, ensuring optimal performance and extending equipment lifespan.
  • Ensure Safety and Security: Conduct regular safety checks, ensure compliance with safety protocols, and maintain a secure work environment.
  • Transportation and Travel: Possess a valid driver's license and maintain a safe driving record.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and performing tasks that require bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a strong ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in grounds maintenance or a related field.
  • Permanent employment with 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
