We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physician Clinical Administrative Assistant to join our team at Appletree Medical Group. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide administrative support to physicians and other healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless patient care and clinic operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to physicians and other healthcare professionals, including scheduling patient appointments, tests, and procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care, including triage, patient histories, and limited physical examinations.
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow up on patient care plans.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Assist with order entry, including prescriptions, referrals, and diagnostic tests as directed by the provider.
- Perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, inventory management, and basic IT troubleshooting.
- Completion of a medical degree.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Typing speed of 40WPM for data entry.
- Committed, reliable, and flexible regarding scheduling of shifts.
- Flexibility regarding working at multiple clinic/office locations in the city.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Professionalism and a positive attitude.
