Residential and Facility Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Residential and Facility Maintenance Specialist to ensure our program facilities are kept clean and secure. This position also involves providing cleaning services for families participating in our programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Regularly clean program facilities, including thorough cleaning of kitchens, restrooms, communal areas, and more.
  • Effectively manage waste disposal, including garbage, recycling, and food waste.
  • Ensure that all facilities are secured when not in use.
  • Maintain an adequate supply of hand washing materials at all times.
  • Report any accidents or damages to program staff and families promptly.
  • Conduct sanitary cleaning of bathrooms, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing kitchen fixtures, and other cleaning tasks.
  • Assist families with organizing and decluttering, with their consent.
  • Engage in meetings and participate in internal and external groups.
  • Carry out additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
  • High school diploma is preferred.
  • Experience in residential cleaning is essential.
  • Familiarity with cleaning products and techniques.
  • Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing schedules.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Dependable and punctual.
  • Willingness to attend mandatory training and successfully complete a Criminal Record Check.
