Food Services Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Services Manager to join our team at Compass Group Canada. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food services department, ensuring the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Operational Management: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that all necessary supplies are available and that stock levels are optimized.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that a safe working environment is maintained.
- Supplier Negotiations: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to ensure the best possible prices and quality.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to clients, addressing their complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Marketing and Promotion: Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote our services and increase customer engagement.
- Leadership and Supervision: Lead and instruct individuals to ensure that they are working effectively and efficiently.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Skills: MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and basic security clearance.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, and large workload.
- Personal Suitability: Accurate, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, and ability to multitask.
- Competitive Salary: $100,001 - $500,000.
