Food Services Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Services Manager to join our team at Compass Group Canada. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food services department, ensuring the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.
- Organize and maintain inventory to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for our staff and customers.
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, ensuring the best possible prices and quality.
- Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities, building strong relationships and delivering exceptional service.
- Participate in marketing plans and implementation, promoting our services and driving business growth.
- Lead and instruct individuals, providing guidance and support to ensure team success.
- Address customer complaints or concerns, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all customers.
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, making data-driven decisions to drive business results.
- 5-10 years of experience in food services management, with a proven track record of success.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Basic security clearance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
