WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

As a Senior Lab Technician, you will conduct comprehensive chemical and physical analyses of various materials, ensuring they meet industry standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Set up and calibrate laboratory equipment necessary for testing and analysis.
  • Evaluate and test materials such as concrete and aggregates for compliance with specified requirements.
  • Document and report findings from tests and analyses accurately.
  • Prepare chemical solutions in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintain the laboratory facilities to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Optimize the use of materials and equipment in laboratory processes.
  • Conduct statistical analyses to assess the quality of raw materials.
  • Manage documentation and maintain accurate records of laboratory activities.
  • Handle multiple projects effectively in a dynamic work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A diploma or degree in Civil, Chemical, or Materials Engineering is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in computer applications (Windows, Word, Excel) are essential.
  • A valid Driver's License is required.
  • Familiarity with testing methods such as IR, TGA, XRD, and Isothermal Calorimetry is advantageous but not mandatory.
