Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans for clients, taking into account their unique goals, risk tolerance, and financial situation.
  • Identify opportunities to grow our business through referrals, new business development, and strategic partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their financial needs are met.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and product offerings to provide expert advice to clients.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement business strategies that drive growth and revenue.
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments of client portfolios to ensure they are aligned with their goals and risk tolerance.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services, as well as those of our competitors, to provide informed advice to clients.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including referrals and new business development.
  • Develop and maintain a strong network of relationships with internal stakeholders, including colleagues, managers, and external partners.

Requirements:

  • University degree and/or 3-5 years of industry experience.
  • Canadian Securities Course (CSC) required.
  • IIROC license preferred (required within first 90 days in role).
  • Complete Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH) within first 90 days in role.
  • Complete Wealth Management Essentials (WME) within first 30 months in role.
  • Achieve Certified Financial Planner designation within first 3 years in role.
