We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Planning Specialist to join our team at The Toronto-Dominion Bank (Canada). As a key member of our wealth management team, you will be responsible for providing expert financial planning advice to our clients, identifying opportunities to grow our business, and building strong relationships with our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans for clients, taking into account their unique goals, risk tolerance, and financial situation.
- Identify opportunities to grow our business through referrals, new business development, and strategic partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their financial needs are met.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and product offerings to provide expert advice to clients.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement business strategies that drive growth and revenue.
- Conduct regular reviews and assessments of client portfolios to ensure they are aligned with their goals and risk tolerance.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services, as well as those of our competitors, to provide informed advice to clients.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including referrals and new business development.
- Develop and maintain a strong network of relationships with internal stakeholders, including colleagues, managers, and external partners.
Requirements:
- University degree and/or 3-5 years of industry experience.
- Canadian Securities Course (CSC) required.
- IIROC license preferred (required within first 90 days in role).
- Complete Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH) within first 90 days in role.
- Complete Wealth Management Essentials (WME) within first 30 months in role.
- Achieve Certified Financial Planner designation within first 3 years in role.
