Your Role:
As a Care Attendant, you will play a vital role in enriching the lives of our residents through outstanding care and support. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering personalized care services with professionalism, dignity, and compassion.
- Administering medications safely (training provided).
- Collaborating with the care team to uphold infection control protocols for the safety of residents and staff.
- Assisting with housekeeping and laundry tasks as needed.
- Addressing medical, physical, and emotional needs in partnership with the Health and Wellness Manager.
Qualifications:
- Covid-19 vaccination is mandatory.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Enrolled in the Alberta Health Care Aide (HCA) Directory (for Alberta applicants).
- Ability to provide empathy and understanding to residents.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills to manage workload efficiently.
- Familiarity with medical equipment is an asset (training available).
All applicants must have the legal right to work in Canada. A Criminal Record Search, including a vulnerable sector screening, will be required as part of the hiring process.
