Your Role:

As a Care Attendant, you will play a vital role in enriching the lives of our residents through outstanding care and support. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering personalized care services with professionalism, dignity, and compassion.
  • Administering medications safely (training provided).
  • Collaborating with the care team to uphold infection control protocols for the safety of residents and staff.
  • Assisting with housekeeping and laundry tasks as needed.
  • Addressing medical, physical, and emotional needs in partnership with the Health and Wellness Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Covid-19 vaccination is mandatory.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Enrolled in the Alberta Health Care Aide (HCA) Directory (for Alberta applicants).
  • Ability to provide empathy and understanding to residents.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage workload efficiently.
  • Familiarity with medical equipment is an asset (training available).
