Position Overview

As a Home Support Worker with Maximum Home Support Services Inc., you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients in their own residences. This position requires a compassionate individual dedicated to providing essential support and care.

Qualifications
  • Education: No formal education required, though relevant experience is beneficial.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
Work Environment
  • Work is conducted in various settings, primarily within the clients' homes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning tasks to maintain a safe and tidy environment.
  • Provide personal care services tailored to the needs of clients.
Required Certifications
  • Certificate of Conduct.
  • First Aid Certification.
Safety and Security
  • Completion of a criminal record check is mandatory.
  • References will be required.
  • A vulnerable sector check is also necessary.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Tasks may involve repetitive motions.
Weight Handling
  • Capable of handling weights up to 9 kg (20 lbs).

  • Demonstrated punctuality and reliability.
  • Strong client-focused approach.
  • Dependability and trustworthiness are essential.
Work Conditions
  • This is a casual position with flexible hours ranging from 2 to 40 hours per week.
