About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineering Intern to join our team at Pratt & Whitney. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects, including troubleshooting and implementing new advanced technology solutions for our manufacturing line.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with the continuous improvement team to identify and implement process improvements
  • Participate in quality events and lead on actions to drive continuous improvement
  • Prepare and support technologies for new capital equipment acquisitions, including business case development and CAD drawing creation
  • Communicate designs and provide guidance on fabricating components with outside vendors
  • Collaborate with the technical team to evaluate and implement closed-door technology strategies
Requirements
  • Be eligible to work in Canada
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout the internship
  • Be able to work on-site in the province where hired
  • Independent, self-motivated, and strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of CAD packages is an asset
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong project management skills
  • Commitment to EH&S, production, and quality objectives
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
