Logistics Internship Opportunity at Raytheon Technologies

About the Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as a Logistics Intern at Raytheon Technologies. As a Logistics Intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the achievement of our business objectives through the manufacturing and development of high-quality aeronautic parts.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in leading initiatives and supporting projects aimed at improving processes within Quality Management, Inventory Control, and Product movement.
- Collaborate with Logistics personnel and the Continuous Improvement team to analyze the flow of product and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support enhancements to existing production planning tools.
- Participate in and support Kaizen and/or Root Cause analysis events aimed at reducing lead time and improving material distribution/storage.
Requirements
- Be eligible to work in Canada.
- Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout the internship.
- Be able to work on-site in the province where hired.
- Pursuing a degree in Engineering or Business (Supply Chain).
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken/written).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a large manufacturing company.
- Lean manufacturing principles.
- SAP, Excel, PowerBI.
- Experience in Change Management.
