About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Winter COOP Intern to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a Winter COOP Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects that will help drive business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze multiple types of data from Manufacturing, Quality, Assembly, and Engine testing Domains.
  • Develop systems and structures that will standardize continuous improvement approaches throughout the organization.
  • Refine and create facility layouts using Sketchup and AutoCAD.
  • Improve and document processes using a suite of continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing methods.
  • Participate and lead investigations to identify Root Causes using the CORE problem-solving method's steps (Describe, Align, Investigate, Solve, Ensure).
  • Support governance initiatives within the P&WC CORE team.
Requirements
  • Be eligible to work in Canada.
  • Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout the internship.
  • Be able to work on-site in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
  • Be proficient in English.
  • Have skills to present technical presentations.
  • Have software exposure in: MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, MS Access, MS Word.
  • Have minimal knowledge of basic manufacturing processes.
  • Have skills and ability to work under pressure with competing and varying priorities.
  • Have project management skills.
