About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cook to join our Dana Hospitality team in the Afternoon Shift. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing meals and daily specials for our cafe dining and catering events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of meals and daily specials for cafe dining and catering events
  • Train team members in best practices and ensure high levels of product quality and customer satisfaction
  • Participate in cost controlling measures, including inventory management and food rotation
  • Lead a team by delegating tasks, coaching, and ensuring best practices are followed
  • Assist in controlling costs by maintaining inventory levels, adhering to portioning standards, and suggesting dishes that take advantage of seasonal availability
  • Examine work stations to organize them in a way that ensures maximum productivity and efficiency
Requirements
  • Healthcare experience
  • Cooking experience
  • A clear criminal background check is required for this role
  • Availability to work the afternoon shift
