About the Role

Amber is seeking a highly skilled English Localization QA Tester to join our team on an on-call basis in Montreal. As a Localization QA Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our localized content.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test video game titles and verify all text, images, and voice-over components in English (UK)
  • Identify and report translation, contextual, cultural, and other linguistic errors in video game titles
  • Provide clear and concise error reports in a bug-tracking database and/or translation document
  • Collaborate with the team to resolve errors and improve the linguistic and translated content
  • Follow and respect terminology guidelines
  • Cross-check issues between different languages with your team
  • Communicate effectively with the Test Lead and escalate any issues that require attention
Requirements
  • Native-level language competency in English (UK)
  • Proof of existing eligibility to work in Canada
  • Experience using mobile, PC, and console devices and knowledge of their terminology
  • Passion for video games
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Professional competency in English
