Position Overview:

Accoravillage is seeking a dedicated Accountant to enhance our finance department. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing daily financial operations, including bank reconciliations, client communications for accounts receivable, and coordinating with department heads for payment authorizations.
  • Executing general accounting responsibilities such as reconciling accounts payable and receivable, along with daily and monthly bookkeeping tasks, which involve collecting and organizing expense documentation like invoices and receipts.
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly financial reports, including initial analyses of expense and revenue variances, along with summary charts.
  • Ensuring a thorough and accurate record of all financial documentation related to bookkeeping activities.
  • Supporting sales initiatives through the preparation and submission of invoices to clients and partners.
  • Contributing to various finance-related tasks, including audits and cross-functional reporting as needed.
  • Participating in meetings with colleagues and clients as required.
  • This position offers a hybrid work environment.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • 1 to 4 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations, and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Proficient in the core MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Hands-on experience with General Ledgers.
  • Experience in year-end processes and reporting.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in report writing.
  • Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and effectively prioritize tasks.
  • Solid organizational skills and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
  • Willingness to accommodate flexible working hours as necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Progress towards a Chartered Professional Accountancy designation is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or Microsoft Business Central ERP systems.
