We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our team at HostedBizz Inc. As a Financial Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide financial administration and support to our Controller
  • Develop technical and operational knowledge of the entire HostedBizz finance department
  • Review customer account statements and perform A/R sub-ledger account reconciliation
  • Process monthly billings and filings
  • Follow up with overdue customer A/R and maintain cash collection cycle
  • Process customer payments
  • Smoothly run our AR solution and SAGE Intacct platform
  • Record bank and credit card transactions and perform monthly bank reconciliations
  • Perform monthly cash audit trial report reconciliations
  • Perform month-end cut-off procedures and monthly working papers filing/sales tax filing
  • Process daily purchase ordering from suppliers and work with our office coordinator for inventory tracking and control
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in financial and accounting function
  • Experience with software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent with Excel (pivot table)
  • Proficiency with SAGE ERP Accounting (Intacct, 300) is a plus
  • Professional accounting accreditation is a plus
  • Working knowledge and understanding of billings cycles, inventory management, order processing, and banking reconciliation
