Position Overview

The role of a Pharmaceutical Technical Support Specialist at Parswami Investments Ltd. dba South Point Pharmacy & Medical Clinic involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the efficient operation of our pharmacy services.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting between 1 to 2 years.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, package, and label pharmaceutical products accurately.
  • Assist in managing scheduling and workflow within the pharmacy.
  • Process billing for third-party insurers.
  • Prepare oral solutions, ointments, and creams as required.
  • Maintain accurate inventories of medications and prescription records.
  • Perform general clerical tasks to support pharmacy operations.
  • Oversee routine office functions, including reception duties, telephone management, and appointment scheduling.
  • Organize and maintain pharmacy inventory effectively.
  • Address and resolve issues that may arise, including customer inquiries, complaints, and supply shortages.
Experience

No prior experience is necessary as training will be provided.

Support InitiativesAssistance for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Provide support for the immediate settlement needs of newcomers and refugees, including housing and transportation.
  • Facilitate access to community resources, language training, and skills development.
  • Assist in the recruitment of individuals displaced by conflict or natural disasters.
  • Support the recognition of foreign credentials for newcomers and refugees.
  • Implement mentorship programs pairing newcomers with experienced staff.
Youth Support
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for youth.
Indigenous Support
  • Provide mentorship and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
Visible Minorities Support
  • Facilitate mentorship programs connecting visible minorities with experienced employees.
