At Vancouver Coastal Health, we are seeking a skilled General Practitioner with a focus on obstetrics to join our team.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional to provide primary obstetric care to our patients. As a Primary Care Obstetrician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to pregnant women, including prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide primary obstetric care to patients, including prenatal, delivery, and postpartum care
- Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
- Conduct routine check-ups and examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications and treatments as needed
Requirements:
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License - Provisional
- Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) Eligible
- Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA)
- Obstetric Experience
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PAL)
