In this role, the Technical IT Manager will guide a team of technical consultants through software deployments, installations, upgrades, and adherence to best practices. You will cultivate a high-performing team of technical experts, enhancing their knowledge and skills to fulfill our business objectives while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and profitability. Responsibilities include managing data conversions, integrations, configurations, troubleshooting, report generation, and custom coding services. Our company collaborates with clients across North America and the Caribbean.

This remote position welcomes candidates from anywhere in Canada and the US, with a work schedule aligned to the Eastern Time Zone. Occasional travel may be required, up to 15%. A valid passport is necessary for travel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead initiatives to enhance the technical expertise within the service delivery team.
  • Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages innovation, cross-training, and trust among technical consulting teams.
  • Collaborate with the Leadership Team and Project Managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, maintaining the highest quality and customer service standards.
  • Coordinate with Sales, R&D, and Support to secure cross-departmental alignment on priorities, requirements, and objectives.
  • Promote continuous improvement of best practices and methodologies by establishing and monitoring clear objectives for the technical team.
  • Assess the utilization, performance, and profitability of the technical services team by analyzing statistics and trends, providing reporting to the Leadership Team.
  • Assist in gathering customer requirements and implementing configurable interfaces.
  • Deliver high-quality software implementation services with a strong emphasis on customer service, technical proficiency, and effective time management.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience managing technical implementation consultants in a software solution environment.
  • Prior experience in technical consulting, including data conversions, integrations, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with SAAS, installation, configuration, migrations, operations, privacy, security, scalability, and reliability.
  • Hands-on programming experience is essential.
  • Proficiency in technologies and tools such as HTML, JavaScript, Apache, Tomcat, Microsoft SQL, SSRS, SSIS, VM, VPN, and Firewall.
  • A degree in computer programming, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Highly motivated, results-driven, and capable of managing time effectively amidst competing priorities.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve objectives, enhance performance, and promote teamwork.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions swiftly and effectively.
  • Dependable, organized, flexible, and self-motivated, with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
