About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team at THE PORT HOUSE. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of our menu items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met.
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu items and promotions.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
