Senior Engineer, Test Engineering Software

The Senior Engineer, Software Automation will play a key role in executing existing automation tests and participating in the development of new automation testing systems and procedures. This individual will utilize their experience in software test automation development to create new automation testing systems and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new automation testing systems and procedures
  • Code, implement, and enhance existing frameworks while working closely with software teams to ensure timely delivery and automation
  • Judge test outcomes to determine pass/fail status and document findings in Test Reports
  • Analyze large amounts of data acquired during automation testing using tools such as Mathcad and Matlab
  • Debug and verify network traffic using wireshark/tcpdump or other related tools
  • Execute manual test cases requiring no automation
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in software development utilizing Java, Selenium, or other OOD
  • Must reside in Canada and be able to work fully onsite, Monday - Friday
  • Experience with test automation techniques
  • Strong experience with data structures and object-oriented programming
  • Experience creating automated test cases from manual testing
  • Familiar with testing strategies including robustness and stress testing
  • BS degree in Engineering, SW, CS, or EE
  • Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry
