Job Summary:

At Masimo, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for executing existing automation tests and participating in the development of new automation testing systems and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement new automation testing systems and procedures to ensure timely delivery and automation.
  • Collaborate with software teams to design, code, and enhance existing frameworks.
  • Analyze large amounts of data acquired during automation tests using tools such as Mathcad and Matlab.
  • Debug and verify network traffic using Wireshark, tcpdump, or other related tools.
  • Execute manual test cases that require no automation.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in software development utilizing Java, Selenium, or other object-oriented development methodologies.
  • Strong experience with data structures and object-oriented programming.
  • Experience creating automated test cases from manual testing.
  • Familiar with testing strategies including robustness and stress testing.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • BS degree in Engineering, Software, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience developing frameworks from scratch.
  • Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry.
