Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Family Pizza Humboldt. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality food and service standards are met.
Key Responsibilities- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring efficient and safe food handling practices
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and healthy work environment
- Hire and manage food service staff to meet the needs of our restaurant
- Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management decisions
- Prepare and submit reports to management on key performance indicators
- Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels during peak periods
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment
- Permanent employment
- English language proficiency
- 35 to 40 hours per week
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Initiative to take ownership of tasks and responsibilities
