Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Food and Supply Management
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize waste.
    • Coordinate with vendors to negotiate prices and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Staff Supervision and Training
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation procedures, and safety protocols to maintain a clean and healthy work environment.
  • Quality Control and Customer Service
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and budgeting decisions.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
    • Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Initiative and problem-solving skills to address customer complaints and kitchen issues.
