Shift Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at BURGER KING RESTAURANTS. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that their experience is positive and memorable.
- Operations Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Staff Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide feedback and coaching to help them improve their performance.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring that we have the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.
- Financial Management: Manage cash handling and inventory control, ensuring that we are operating within budget and meeting financial targets.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Work Setting: Food service establishment, on-site customer service, fast food outlet or concession.
- Supervision: 5-10 people, including food service counter attendants and food preparers, kitchen and food service helpers.
- Security and Safety: Basic security clearance.
- Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, walking.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player.
