Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Community Mental Health Nurse to join our team at Health Careers in Saskatchewan. As a key member of our interdisciplinary mental health and addiction team, you will provide a range of intake assessment, intervention, navigation services, and clinical services to individuals of all ages with mental health and addiction issues and support to their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide intake assessments, interventions, and navigation services to individuals with mental health and addiction issues
  • Work collaboratively with the Outpatient Services Manager and other team members to develop and implement care plans
  • Provide clinical services, including medication management and psychiatric nursing assessments
  • Develop and deliver training programs for other professionals
  • Work with a variety of individuals presenting with complex issues, including those with mental health and addiction challenges
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience working in community mental health and addictions services
  • Psychiatric Nursing diploma (DPN) or equivalent
  • Registered/eligible with the Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of SK and the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
  • Valid driver's license and vehicle available for work
