About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Promotions Advisor to join our team at Nova Scotia Health. As a key member of our Primary Health Care Central Zone, you will be responsible for developing and managing a broad range of written and visual content for web, social media, educational, and navigational purposes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing and communications, with a minimum of five years of experience in a related field. You will be responsible for collaborating with various programs and services within Primary Health Care and Chronic Disease Management to create engaging and informative content that meets the needs of our patients and primary care teams.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and managing content for web, social media, and other digital platforms
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand content needs and goals
  • Creating engaging and informative content that meets the needs of our patients and primary care teams
  • Providing guidance and support for consistency in content design and tone
  • Ensuring proper linking with relevant internal and public-facing content

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who has:

  • A university degree in a related field, such as marketing, communications, or public relations
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a related field, preferably in healthcare or non-profit
  • Strong knowledge of marketing and communications principles and practices
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to understand content needs and goals

Hours

This is a permanent full-time position, with a 75-hour bi-weekly schedule. Shifts may include evening, weekends, and holidays.

Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary, ranging from $33.13 to $41.42 per hour, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
