Job Summary

LanceSoft is seeking a highly skilled Project Control Officer to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects within budget and on time.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Budget Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date budget records, including auditing and reconciling project expenses.
  2. Financial Reporting: Review and analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with company policies.
  3. Project Coordination: Support the project team in maintaining project files, documentation, and correspondence.
  4. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the delivery team to ensure all project stakeholders are informed and engaged.
Requirements
  1. Experience: 5+ years of experience in financial project management, with a strong background in budgeting and financial analysis.
  2. Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Excel, MS Projects, and financial software; bilingual in fluent Spanish and English.
  3. Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experience with Clarity: Experience working with Clarity software is an asset.
  2. Big 5 Bank Experience: Experience working on projects at big 5 banks in Canada, especially Scotiabank, is a plus.

  1. Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  2. Analytical: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
  3. Time Management: Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
