Conference Manager Job Description

At Venue West Conference Services, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Conference Manager to join our team. As a Conference Manager, you will be responsible for planning and executing national and international conferences, ensuring seamless execution and exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead conference teams and serve as the primary point of contact for clients
  • Develop and implement comprehensive conference plans, including logistics, marketing, and financial management
  • Negotiate contracts with venues, service providers, and vendors
  • Manage conference finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and reconciliation
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful conference execution
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in conference management
  • Strong English grammar skills and excellent communication skills
  • Microsoft Office Package proficiency
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
